Sustainability

A legacy of respect and renewal

We are an integral part of the savannah, where our camp is nestled. Our very existence here depends on the well-being of this environment. It is our greatest responsibility not only to minimize our impact but to actively contribute to its regeneration, ensuring that it thrives for generations to come.

We are proudly 100% solar powered

Relying entirely on renewable energy to run every aspect of our sanctuary. From guest suites to back‑of‑house operations, our systems are designed to operate off‑grid with minimal impact, ensuring that your stay supports the long‑term health of the Serengeti. By harnessing the power of the sun, we reduce emissions, eliminate reliance on diesel, and protect the pristine environment that surrounds us.

Sourcing Local Ingregients

We source the majority of our ingredients from local farmers, growers, and community cooperatives surrounding the Serengeti. By choosing fresh, seasonal produce grown within the region, we reduce transport emissions, support small‑scale agriculture, and ensure that every meal reflects the authentic flavors of this landscape. Our commitment to local sourcing strengthens community livelihoods while allowing guests to experience cuisine that is deeply connected to the place they are exploring.

Supporting local Farmers

We are committed to supporting the farmers and producers who live and work around the Serengeti. By partnering directly with small‑scale growers, we help strengthen local livelihoods, preserve traditional agricultural knowledge, and ensure that the economic benefits of tourism stay within the community. These relationships allow us to serve ingredients that are not only fresh and seasonal, but also deeply rooted in the culture and heritage of the region.

Planting Roots

We ask our guests to leave a lasting imprint of their visit to the Serengeti by each planting an Acacia tree, they become part of our reforestation efforts and keep an enduring connection to the land

We are committed to keeping single-use plastic away from our camp and encourage our guests to do the same
